WHY we are doing it
Italian Rainforest was created to make the Italian innovation ecosystem more transparent, open, interconnected, and, overall, more self-aware and better than an ecosystem lacking these features.
It is a giveback initiative from Rainmakers to its national ecosystem because we strongly believe in the "ubuntu" philosophy in the world of startups and innovation: I am because we are.
Our "why" is "to change our nation in one generation through education, entrepreneurship, and innovation". And change also comes through our giveback initiative with Italian Rainforest.
HOW we are doing it
The mapping of Italian Rainforest is born and developed in a participatory manner with the support of the entire Italian Rainforest.
Each player in the Rainforest can request, through a form, the addition or modification of the data of a player, whether mapped or not on this site. Our team, after verifying the request, will proceed with the update.
WHAT we are doing
The Italian Rainforest is represented through two tools: a map and a database, both interactive and easily searchable.
Italian Rainforest is an open mapping that is always updated and updatable, as well as easily shareable on the web. It can be seamlessly embedded into any other site through just two lines of embedding code for both the map and the database, which you can adopt whenever you want, even inserting them on your corporate or personal websites.
